The documents below provide guidance to understand requirements of Domestic Relations Orders (DROs) as it pertains to the North Carolina Retirement Systems Division of the Department of State Treasurer and provides resources to aid members through the process. DROs sent to the North Carolina Retirement Systems must be consistent with the templates below in order to be processed. Please refer to the guide for further clarification and instruction.
